Without the crowds
Houses away from the main roads, coves you walk down to, and someone on site who knows every address. We only let houses where we would spend our own holidays.
Claire visits all six houses before every season. She is the one you call, from the first message to the day you leave.

The deposit
30% secures the house. The balance is due a month before arrival.
The welcome basket
Bread, fruit, local wine and coffee for the first morning.
The welcome
Claire meets you at the house, shows you round and leaves her addresses.
A chef, one evening
One dinner or the whole week, with produce from the nearby markets.
Transfers
Airport, station or harbour, with a driver who knows the road.
Leaving
By 10 am. Cleaning and linen are included; just close the door.

What is the minimum stay?
It depends on the house, from three to seven nights. In July and August, stays start on Saturday.
What does the price include?
The rental, the welcome, linen and final cleaning. Tourist tax is in the total; à la carte services are extra.
What is the cancellation policy?
The deposit is fully refunded up to 60 days before arrival, and half of it up to 30 days.
Are pets welcome?
In three houses out of six, on request. Claire will tell you which ones.
Can we arrive late at night?
Yes. Let Claire know the day before: she leaves the keys somewhere safe and drops by the next morning.
Do we need a car?
It is easier everywhere except Villefranche. We can book a car or a driver for the whole stay.
